Understanding the internal structure of Rb₂ in all details has been a key for our group to explore the molecule’s internal dynamics, its formation and its reactions. I will give an overview of our work on Rb₂ which has been carried out in close collaboration with Prof. Tiemann. I will point out interesting insights about Rb₂ we have gained along the way.
