The Origin of the Energy — •Hans-Otto Carmesin — Gymnasium Athenaeum, Harsefelder Straße 40, 21680 Stade — Studienseminar Stade, Bahnhofstr. 5, 21682 Stade — Universität Bremen, Fachbereich 1, Postfach 330440, 28334 Bremen

The energy is a basic concept. It is an essential invariant in physics. It is an exciting area for discovery. For instance, Leibniz introduced the kinetic energy in 1686, Mayer realized the universal relevance of energy in 1842 and Einstein derived the equivalence of mass and energy in 1905. But where does energy come from? In 1973 Tryon proposed the hypothesis that the energy of the universe comes from zero-point oscillations. Here we analyze the time evolution of the energy in full detail: We introduce an appropriate frame. With it we trace back the current energy within the light horizon until we arrive at the Big Bang. As a result we obtain the time evolution of the various forms of energy, including its original values (Hans-Otto Carmesin (2020): The Universe Developing from Zero-Point Energy - Discovered by Making Photos, Experiments and Calculations. Berlin: Verlag Dr. Köster). The concept can be directly used in science education, research clubs or astronomy clubs.
