First we investigate the harmonic oscillator experimentally and analytically. Moreover we study the zero-point oscillations measured in crystals at low temperature. We transfer these observations to the harmonic oscillator. Secondly we investigate chains of harmonic oscillators experimentally and analytically. These exhibit waves and wave solutions. Furthermore we study the zero-point oscillations measured in the Casimir effect. We transfer these observations to the chain of harmonic oscillators. We generalize all results to various dimensions (Hans-Otto Carmesin (2020): The Universe Developing from Zero-Point Energy - Discovered by Making Photos, Experiments and Calculations. Berlin: Verlag Dr. Köster). So our results provide a basis for the investigation of space in the early universe (Hans-Otto Carmesin (2018): Entstehung der Raumzeit durch Quantengravitation * Theory for the Emergence of Space, Dark Energy and Space-Time. Berlin: Verlag Dr. Köster). The project is presented as an example for teamwork in an ensemble of projects in the field of quantum gravity that are carried out in a research club at our school.
