Material defects forming two-level-systems (TLS) present a source of decoherence and unwanted degrees of freedom in superconduncting quantum systems. Current theoretical models make different assumptions about the frequency dependence of the TLS' density-of-states (DOS). We intend to measure the TLS' DOS in a wide frequency range, spanning ~0.1 to 20 GHz, using widely tunable flux-qubits specifically designed as TLS-scanners. Measuring the DOS will enhance our understanding of the underlying physics of TLS in amorphous materials.
