Since 2015 the all-d-Heuslermaterial Ni(Co)MnTi is object of interest due to its magneto-functional applications linked to a martensitic phase transition, like solid state cooling and magnetic shape memory effect. Nevertheless, for many characterization methods single crystals are necessary but not reported in literature so far. Here we report on the growth and preparation of Ni37Co13Mn33Ti17 single crystals based on anomalous grain growth. The resulting single crystals are several mm in size, can be used for various experiments and show a reversible martensitic phase transition around 200 K. Here, the samples are characterized using magnetometry and various laboratory single crystal diffraction experiments. In addition, we use high energy synchrotron experiments to improve the dynamic intensity range and to reconstruct the whole reciprocal space.
