Quantum memory is an essential element in the development of future quantum technologies, such as quantum computing circuits and quantum communication links. Specifically, crystals doped with rare earth ions are promising competitive candidates due to their long coherence times [1] and potential multiplexing capability [2]. Here, we aim to couple coherent microwave signals to rare earth ion dopants in yttrium orthosilicate crystals (Y2SiO5) at 10 mK. We will discuss the impact of the transmission line design on the efficiency of quantum information storage and its multimodality potential.
