Measurement of the branching fraction of the rare decay D0 → K−π+ e−e+ with the LHCb experiment — Daniel Unverzagt and •Stefan Blenkle — Physikalisches Institut, Heidelberg, Germany
The LHCb experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is particularly suitable for studying decays of charm hadrons. This talk presents the branching fraction measurement of the four-body decay D0 → K−π+ e−e+ using LHCb data collected in 2017 and 2018, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.8 fb−1. The analysis aims to measure the most precise value for the decay branching fraction using the world’s largest data sample of charm decays.
