Molecules at Surfaces: Motion, Vibration, Spin, and Charge State — •Chao Li, Jung-Ching Liu, Outhmane Chahib, Thilo Glatzel, Remy Pawlak, and Ernst Meyer — Department of Physcis, University of Basel, Klingelbergstrasse 82, 4056 Basel, Switzerland
In recent decades, the study of molecules on surfaces has garnered significant attention owing to its multifaceted relevance across various scientific disciplines. In this presentation, I will delve into three intriguing aspects of this field. Firstly, I will discuss the controlled motion of SnCl2Pc molecules on copper surfaces at room temperature. Secondly, I will explore the vibrational and spin states of AlPc molecules on superconducting Pb substrates, shedding light on their intricate surface interactions. Lastly, I will investigate the charge states and their strong electron-vibration coupling effects observed in TBTAP molecules, providing valuable insights into their electronic behavior on surfaces.
