We investigate the elastoresistivity of the heavily hole doped iron-based superconductor Ba1−xKxFe2As2 in the range x= 0.68 - 0.98 using a piezoelectric measurement technique. We observe a divergent increase in elastoresistance along the [110] direction during cooling for all samples studied so far. We discuss our findings in terms of nematic fluctuations and Fermi surface effects in the vicinity of a Lifshitz transition.
