Due to the pronounced cluster structure of 12C it has been proposed that some of its excited states can be classified according to the D3h symmetry [1]. In particular, the electric ground state excitation strengths of different multipole orders should be related. We have contributed a precision measurement for the E2 strength of the 21+ state by electron scattering at the S-DALINAC at low momentum transfer [2]. We aim, now, at a similar measurement of the form factors of the 31− and 41+ states of 12C at low momentum transfer (0.3 fm−1 ≤ q ≤ 0.8 fm−1). The plans for our experiment will be presented.
