The Next to two Higgs Doublet Model (N2HDM) and Two Higgs Doublet Model plus complex Singlet (2HDMS) are promising model candidates, for physics beyond the Standard Model (SM). Both can embed the 95 GeV excesses at LEP, CMS and ATLAS. We consider the N2HDM as a limiting case of the 2HDMS when the CP-odd singlet decouples from SM particles. Close to this limit, the models differ mainly by the additional trilinear terms in the 2HDMS, which arise due to its Z3 symmetry. This difference may lead to phenomenological effects in the di-Higgs production at collider experiments. We study the di-Higgs production at e+e− colliders, such as the ILC500, and identify the parameter regions where we expect these differences to exceed the experimental uncertainties.
