The FRS Virtual Messhütte — •Nicolas Hubbard for the Super-FRS Experiment collaboration — GSI, Darmstadt, Germany
The FRS (FRagment Seperator) is a high-resolution magnetic spectrometer located at the GSI Helmhholtzzentrum fur Schwerionenforschung in Darmstadt, Germany. Using the FRS secondary beams of exotic nuclei can be produced by impinging high energy primary beams from the SIS-18 synchotron onto production targets. In order to help the operation of the FRS, to provide long-term recording of the operating conditions during an experiment, and to allow people to monitor and participate in experiments remotely, a remote monitoring system is under development, termed the FRS "Virtual Messhütte", and available using a standard web-browser to authorised users. This poster will highlight some of the developments of the Virtual Messhütte.
