We investigate fractal features in the one and higher-dimensional Aubry-Andre models. First, we review the phase diagrams known from the multi-fractal analysis of eigenstates. Then, we turn to a systematic fractal analysis of the eigenspectra and show a connection of the spectral fractal dimension to the typical Heisenberg time scale. We discuss its implications to particle transport, which we characterize by the mean square displacement, and we highlight differences between the one-dimensional and higher-dimensional models.
