In antiferromagnetic spintronics, reorientation of the staggered magnetization driven by current pulses can originate from different mechanisms. Investigating Mn2Au, for longer pulses [Rei23] the thermal contribution is dominant. However, for pulses in the nanosecond range Néel spin-orbit torque switching is demonstrated.
