Rouaite, Cu2(OH)3NO3, is a low-dimensional quantum magnet with alternating ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic spin chains. Its magnetic phase diagram has been studied using techniques such as magnetization and specific heat, revealing field-induced transitions. This work focuses on ultrasonic investigations, which uncover the coupling between magnetic and elastic properties. New results under hydrostatic pressure further demonstrate the tunability of the magnetic phases, highlighting the material’s sensitivity to lattice modifications.
